cool vintage 73-80 road test articles/ads!

Hey everybody, I have a bunch of 73-80 articles (listed below) that I have received from Killew and Capt Kaos, as well as a bunch I have collected over the years. I also have a bunch of cool vintage car/truck ads that are fun to look at as well. Listed below is what I have, if anyone would like a CD of this let me know by replying to this thread, once everybody has had a chance to request one, I will burn the CD’s and get back to you with a PM for your address. Swerve and Eddie, there is some stuff on here that wasn’t on the last disc I gave you, so feel free to ask for another. Chris, you already have this stuff, but if you want an electronic copy let me know. I figured I would get the one good deed I do each year out of the way, and besides, you all have helped me so I figure the least I can do is return the favor.

- ’77 GMC Indy 500 Special brochure (GM issue)
- 1980 model year truck write-up (Nov, 1979 Truckin magazine)
- Amarillo fleetside 454 road test (Sept, 1979 Truckin magazine)
- Amarillo stepside 454 road test (PV4WD magazine)
- Amarillo stepside 454 road test (Dec, 1978 Hot Rod magazine)
- Big 10 454 SWB 2WD road test (April, 1979 Truckin magazine)
- Desert Fox 4WD 400V8 stepside road test (PV4WD magazine)
- 1979 Diesel pickup SWB (Aug, 1979 Truckin magazine)
- Impact ’76 dealer brochure (GM issue)
- Jimmy Street Coupe 350V8 2WD Blazer (Sept, 1979 PV4WD magazine)
- 1979 K-10 stepside road test (June, 1979 Truckin magazine)
- K5 Blazer road test (Aug, 1979 Truckin magazine)
- “King of the Hill Shootout, Amarillo vs. Lil Red Express vs. 460 Ford truck (1978? PV4WD magazine)
- Street Coupe 454 2WD stepside road test (Jan, 1979 Motor Trend magazine)

Hope you like!

OH, here is a teaser of some of the kooky stuff I have.

-Jeff

Jeff's CD is awesome; he sent me one some little time ago!

And come to think of it, Jeff...I still owe you a copy of the ARA air conditioning ad...sorry it has taken me sooo long!

If they all fit on one disk, that would be cool. If we have to choose one article, can I get the 1980 model year truck write-up (Nov, 1979 Truckin magazine) ?

OK guys, here is the deal. When I get to work Monday I will burn the CD's, I will do as many as there are request for. Once they are done I will PM each of you for your address and ship you the disc. There is no need to send blank CD's or anything, i have a bunch and they are cheap to mail. Hope you like them, if you are a 73-87 nut like me I am sure you will!

Do you have a paypal account? Everyone could send you a buck or two to cover your costs and I'd certainly be pilling to do that.

This is a great idea. Easy way to collect the costs required to do this. I'm all for it.

Jeff,

you're the man. What is it, are you trying to make friends for life?

I hope not, I mean, I am not doing this to make friends...just trying to share what i have based on past intrest on rare factory trucks.

Like I said earlier, some of the stuff is from Killew and Chris as well, I am just trying to corral it all so we can all see it.

...but making new friends is always cool.

Do you want one Mike?

-Jeff

BTW - I have a PAYPAL acct but really don't use it that much. Once you guys get your CD's you can just mail me a buck or something (my address will be on the envelope) if you like...but I am really not worried about it.

That would be cool. I'd love to get that stuff. I like that big rig setup! LOL!! I'm kinda old fashioned. Tweed seat covers and stacks are still in to me!!
