Re: Fleet bed

Very Interested. Any rust or previous repair? Does it come with a tailgate? I would like to see pics of the inside of the bed too if possible.

Re: Fleet bed

THE BED HAS SCALEY RUST ( NO HOLES) IN THE FLOOR. I WAS GOING TO PUT A SPRAY LINER IN IT SO I DIDNT HAVE IT BLASTED YET. AS FAR AS REPAIRS JUST MINOR DINGS AND STUFF NOTHING MAJOR. IT WAS REPAIRED BY A LOCAL BODY SHOP AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER GOT MARRIED... SOLD THE TRUCK MINUS THE BED AND I ENDED UP WITH THE BED. ITS VERY STRAIGHT AND EXCEPT FOR A LITTLE WAVY LOOKING AREAS AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE FRONT PANEL AGAINST THE CAB ITS SUPERNICE.
I'LL SEND OUT PICS TOMORROW TO ALL THAT ARE INTERESTED.

Re: Fleet bed

Got any close up pics of the wheel arches?
Also,... is this a true 67 bed or have the sidemarkers been filled?

Re: Fleet bed

The floor is straighter than my floor in my show truck. The wheel arches are good and the markers were filled at the body shop. The front panel has wavy spots at the bottom of the front panel but are hard to spot.... But there anyway.

It's the economy, time of year, and the fact it's a repaint with body work....no way to tell in pictures if it's just a bunch of bondo/filler or if it was done right...

1000 is a fair price if the body work was done right. If not, it's probably a $500 bed

Re: Fleet bed

If the bed is as good as it looks in the pics, and was restored properly (not full of filler) it will sell to the first person that comes to see it.
