Parting 85 Chevy 5/8 ton 2wd Diesel

Just in is a 85 diesel with a rod through the block, but it has a spare short block that filled up with water with all of the rain in the last month.
Bare cab with title already sold to draggin86. I will be using the back end for a bed trailer.

4 speed tilt column with key $125 plus shipping

Hydro boost/power steering pump $125 shipped SOLD

Brake/clutch pedal assembly, m/c, reservoir, slave, lines $75 shipped

Bell housing $40 plus shipping SOLD

New diesel starter $42 shipped SOLD

Uncut dash gauge bezel $30 plus shipping

Cab corner speakers complete $37 shipped SOLD

Aftermarket inner grille $60 plus shipping SOLD

Please respond in thread to avoid confusion. Paypal and post office MO works good. I'll give 24 hours after I answer a question on a part and then it goes to next person in line. Merry Christmas!
Thanks, Ray

I just found out that GM changed the GP controler over
to a "new" style in 85. I guess 83-84 is where I have to
look.

I've heard that most all the reproduction controlers are
prone to premature failure, in a relative short amount of
time.

Thanks, anyway.
Merry Xmass.

Do you have the brackets that hold the radiator w/rubber pads (need both top and bottom rubber pads)? I am assuming it was the larger 4 core size radiator.

What do you want want for the 3 pads and one hold down shipped to 38053? I assume the truck had the radiator that is 19" tall and roughly 3" wide tanks? I may be better off just buying them new, dunno.

$10 shipped. If I find the 4th rubber and or 2nd hold down no extra charge...still $10 shipped.
Thanks, Ray

Ill take them. How do you want payment? Also, just confirming but they are from a radiator with roughly the dimensions of 19" tall and 3" or so wide tanks right? I know some trucks had shorter radiators with different hold downs and some had the thinner radiator but I am thinking a 85 diesel should be the same as I am looking for.

The tank is 3" wide, the radiator is 21x41. This is the big 4 core hold down. I checked my stash and all other hold downs are smaller (3 core). pm sent

Re: Parting 85 Chevy 5/8 ton 2wd Diesel

Do you know if the speedometer gauge worked well / didn't jump all over the place?

How much for the speedo gauge / cluster & the Injector pump together?

I don't know about the speedo as I bought the truck after it blew the engine. Cluster with injector pump $100 shipped. GMT is first up on the pump.
Thanks, Ray
