Arrow Fiber optics for auto columns

I have a few fiber optics. These do not have the orange plastic pointer that goes into your auto shift indicator. You'll use yours. 15.00 ea shipped. I'll get pics later.

Nice! These are a cool piece of history associated with our trucks, although they confuse quite a few people when the bulb burns out. Sharpie

Re: Fiber optics for auto columns

which years did these come on? I have several that had the wire cut and I always thought they were ground wires because I'd never seen one hooked up...anyone have a picture of one installed?

I'll definitely take one if it's correct for a 72....but trying to get and answer....I've honestly never had a truck (out of the 11 I've had and others I've parted) with one complete...

These in particular ones came on trucks from the 70's and 80s. The shift indicator that is on auto. columns has this in it to light up the little orange plastic piece so you can see which gear your in at night. There is a hole in that orange piece that the end fits into and the other end has a light socket that goes to the rear of your dash cluster and plugs into a light hole on it. These should fit any auto. column on a gm vehicle. Cars too. A picture of one install may be difficult since they are pretty much hidden in the column. Only the optic line with a socket would be coming out of a column. Maybe someone has a column out and can show this.
sending pms
