A/C Compressor Choices

My A/C compressor died today (I think), so I am considering a replacement. Has anyone used or have any opinion on the following:

1) A/C Delco reman $192 at OE warehouse - 1 yr warranty
2) "S6" replacement for A6 - $365 + S&H (new lighter aftermarket replacement)
3) Sanden conversion kit for A6 - $500 + S&H retail

I would not buy a auto store reman because I never have had one last more than a few months.

I stopped by the A/C repair shop nearby but it was busier than a hairdresser on the day of the senior prom, so I won't need be acting on this for a week or so.
