Blue 1968 Steering Wheel/Horn Button

I have for sale a nice driver-quality steering wheel from a '68 C-10. It comes complete with the horn contact assembly and original Chevy cap.

The steering wheels does have minor cracks and wear as can be seen in the photos. The splines are perfect with no evidence of the wheel ever being off the truck.

The horn button has some pitting in the chrome, but the rubber alignment gasket is in excellent shape. The horn contacts are pefect and the plastic ring under the screws is like new. The horn worked on my truck before I removed this steering wheel to replace it with a Corvette 3 spoke.

Asking $50 + shipping for the steering wheel, horn assembly and cap.

Here are some pictures...

Thanks,

NoNeck

1972hays -

I want to give ckexswb first priority.

If he passes, I will still need to get $50 for it.

Thanks

Ckexswb - Shipping the steering wheel would cost $26.10 USPS Priority Mail. Total cost to your door $76.10. If you want it, please reply "I Will Take It" and I will PM you my Paypal info, or Money Order.

Thanks!

Re: Blue 1968 Steering Wheel/Horn Button

Rick is right. The shipping cost is $26.10 to Napa, California from Tenessee. Being as the steering wheel is large and bulky, it does takes a pretty big box. I physically took it to my Post Office this morning and had them weigh it and give me a quote. I thought it was fairly reasonable.

1972hays - I would imagine shipping would be about the same to A t w a t e r California.

Thanks guys.

Re: Blue 1968 Steering Wheel/Horn Button

Thanks ckexswb - No problem, shipping can be expensive.

The first "I'll Take It" gets it. $50 is very reasonable with the cap and horn assembly.

Arrow Re: Blue 1968 Steering Wheel/Horn Button

Surely somebody out there needs this steering wheel...

Remember, it comes complete with all the horn components and a decent cap.

How about $60 shipped? Continental US states only.

I'm interested. Do you ever come toward Nashville? It would save on shipping that way. Let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for asking.

Re: Blue 1968 Steering Wheel/Horn Button

bw4sale - Do you have any bumper brackets for a 68 stepper? Need front and rear. Trade on the steering wheel? I am 'No Neck's' son .. I can come to maybe South Pittsburg .. or even Mont Eagle somewhere if you want to meet? Can do it Sat if that works. Front trim for a 68 grill? The part that goes around the outer edge of the fender / hood? Even something we could have rechromed.

Just an idea..

Re: Blue 1968 Steering Wheel/Horn Button

I've actually got some extra trim pieces that I would be willing to part with. Don't know if I want to make the 2+ hour trip for it though. I know I can't do it this Saturday. Let me dig out what I've got and we can go from there.
