Looking for some feedback on this truck...

Looks pretty clean. Have not seen it. Wondering if the miles are legit. What type of pulling power/ gas milegae would I expect? |

Miserable pulling power out of the 2.8. Milage in the mid teens to to 20 range depending on how you drive. Looking at the condition of all the plastic in the interior, it may very well be an original 86k miles.

Wow, someone took care of that truck. If the paint is original, it was garage kept all its life! That's the best 83 S10 I've ever seen.

Way over priced IMO.
OK gas mileage, but not special, probably right where Zane says. Not good pulling power. Edit: here are the specs on the 2.8 (LR2) from wiki: LR2 The longitudinal LR2 was a truck version ("B-code") produced from 1982 to 1990. It used a 2-barrel carburetor and produced 115 hp (86 kW) and 150 lb·ft (203 N·m). You aren't going to get great gas mileage as it's "working" in that truck, and the pulling power won't be great either.

What are you looking for? You could get better gas mileage and pulling from a newer $4,500 full-size truck. $4,500 will buy you a decent truck that is 10-15 years old.

I have to say though, HOLY CRAP, that is a CLEAN 83 S10! Wish mine looked half as good.
What are you looking to tow? It could pull a jet ski or very small boat...

if you are serious I would have them replace the starter before you buy it. even then I would pass due to the price. it's about $2000 more than I would pay
