need help removing instrument cluster

i have all the screws and knobs out but how does the circle covers for the wiper and lights come off ?

you grip the outer ring and rotate conterclockwise and they will unscrew from the switch

take a pair of needle nose pliers stick them in the two square holes and twist counter clockwise

I didn't need any needle noses to undo mine just hat a good grip on the ring and gave the back a slight twist and off they came. but if you use them be careful not to bamage the rings
