Re: "custom" custom trim

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, but I was thinking it want g going to line up well on the thickness and hadn't confirmed that yet. What do you think? MAR-K sells nice individual pieces.

Re: "custom" custom trim

The original is rounder as this is flat. That is a great idea, looks good. Gives a nice finish to the back of the cab. Can we get a view of the joint please.

Thickness was prety close. I did it relly quick and the "c" cuts i did on the edges arnt very good. If you took your time im sure you can blend it in real good with the cab sail trim.

Re: "custom" custom trim

Could it slip over the cab sail a bit?

Re: "custom" custom trim

Not too bad. With a little tweaking (and trimming), you could probably trim down the "Custom" trim end so the bed trim can fit inside it. Not for sure how the original trim was. If it just butted up or fit inside.

Looks sharp though!

Re: "custom" custom trim

Actually the sails were tapered where the exposed screw fastens on the tailpiece, then the molding covered the screw and sat flush.
