Greetings from Australia

Howdy all ...

New not only here but to the scene also. Always had a thing for your trucks, and one came along over here at the right time so I decided to jump in at the deep end.

It's going to be a steep learning curve restoring this beast to its former glory, with a touch of modernisation as well, but I am sure with some advice from the members here and some local contacts it will be possible.

This 1968 Long Bed C10 was privately imported about two years ago and really hasn't done much since. I think it has changed hands a couple of times (perhaps when the owners realised how much work was involved?).

It's a long term project for me. I will be acquiring parts over time and tackling each area at a time. Unfortunately, it's not quite as easy to access parts from over here which will slow me down a little.

I'll throw some photos up here, but I'll be starting a build thread shortly with the actual plans.

Would love to meet up with some other Aussie C10 owners to gain some knowledge and information from those that have previously been down this path.

Without any further ado ..
