Hello all :)

So tuesday night I bought a 71 C20 for $800!!!
Its a little rought around the edges but if you look passed all the dirt and crud lol its a great deal!
Its a 3/4ton 8 lug wood bed 350/350 combo with a dana 60 rear.
The kid didnt know much about the truck at all he bolted a eddy carb onto a qjet intake without the spacer and coundt figure out the problem and lost intrest in the truck.
It was sitting for about 2 years with a low milage engine and trans. the truck needs a lot of help but nothing serious is wrong with the truck at all. the worst issue is the driver rocker needs to be replaced and the wood bed is rotted.
Theres quite a few little things that it needs but nothing thats costly or hard to do.
So here are some pics of the truck...

Re: Hello all :)

I'm very excited to get this thing driving. I want it driving by the end of January. I won't have any prettys done but I'll have new brakes all new weather stripping and some engine work.

The rust issues are going to be the hardest tho. I've never done rocker panels before. Tho after watching vids on YouTube it seems fairly straight forward.
