Guess i'm back now guys

Well, it has been quite a journey over the last year or so. I am back now, i bought my dad's 66 that i will be finishing over the next few months.

This is what i built from scratch over the last 10 months and recently sold:

Re: Guess i'm back now guys

Thanks everyone. It is good to be back. I picked up the nicest unrestored 65 i have ever seen. It has little to no rust at all and is a complete LWB fleet. I am going to use the cab and fenders for my truck. I will post up some pics soon.

Re: Guess i'm back now guys

I had a feeling you would end up with that truck soon.

Glad to see you have a truck with more common grill and trim.

Looks like a fun project. Looking forward to your build.

Re: Guess i'm back now guys

Thanks guys. I have the best teacher anyone could have, my Dad! He is right there with me at 70 years old getting his hands dirty and turning wrenches. I owe EVERY ounce of my ability to him for teaching about cars and how to build cars since i was old enough to walk. He's da man, LOL.

Here's the bucket my dad built back in the 70's:

Here's mine, i tried to copy his but got a little of course as you can see.

And here he is a year ago helping with my old 64. He never gets tired of hot rods and old trucks, LOL

Zack,
Welcome back. Just wondering about your screen name, CVA59 - were you stationed on the Forrestal at any time? I think they decommissioned it in 93?

My dad served on the Forrestal. I started a memorial to all the men who died in the fire and explosions on July 29, 1967. www.forrestalmemorial.com

Thanks for asking.
