losing coolant ,dont know where

Guys i need some help,i have a 03 gmc sierra with a 5.3 vortec and i started smelling coolant not inside the truck but outside and the coolant low coolant alert came on finally,problem is i see no leaks on the ground or on the motor could it be a head gasket,someone told me no water pass through the intake gasket so i ruled that out.What do you guys think.

You need to have someone pressure test the system. Any corner repair shop should be able to handle this for you. Its up to you wether you'd like them to fix it for you or not.

the water pump gaskets are bad about leaking and burning off before it gets to the ground

have you filled it again and had the light come on again? might have just been some hard driving?
