Need both lower inner cowls for 1949 PU

Hello all, I have my 1949 Chev PU down to frame cab and engine and found the inner lft and rt cowls are pretty cancerous and would like to have them patched. I also need to patch interior above the winsheild. Can you guys recommend a company that offers quality patch panels?

Price around and get the cheapest ones considering shipping cost and purchase price. I've bought 11 patch panels for my truck and most all had the same manufacturer label on them.

I haven't had any problems with any of the vendors that I've dealt with but I've probably spent more money with Bow Tie Bits. http://www.bowtiebits.com/

They are in Kansas and shipping is usually a little lower than when buying from the west coast vendors, and their prices are competitive.

Re: Need both lower inner cowls for 1949 PU

Go to the swap meet. I was at a local car show and swap meet and there was a vender selling the patch panels there. It was nice because I could physically handle the part to check for quality (can't do that online). They sold the same parts as LMC, classic parts, ect.. The trailer was big so they had alot of parts for 1947-2002 chevy trucks.

I bought both floors and the passenger side inner and outer cowls and only paid about $30 more than LMC but after you take shipping costs that I didn't have to pay I saved a few bucks and didn't have to wait.

It was at the Princeton, Mn show in early June. There is a couple that runs it and I delt with the lady. She was really nice and tells me to email if I ever needed more parts or needed to know what show they will be at next. They can get the larger stuff like box sides but you have to call or email and ask them to order one and bring it to a show but they keep inventory of most or the managable parts. Their business card says:

The price for the parts is usually pretty competitive from most of the major players but you have to watch the shipping costs.

I would also recommend signing up on everyone's websites for discount deals. You might luck into a 10 percent off or a free shipping deal. I wasn't looking to buy inner cab corners till the next swap meet but I got a good email deal.
