Radio antenna delete

Hey all. Was wondering if there is a product or any ideas you guys are using to fill the antenna hole? Antenna broke off and I would ather just fill the space with something. Thanks

Re: Radio antenna delete

Just cut a circle out of a piece of sheet metal and weld it in there. If you are looking for temporary, you can probably find a plug at a hardware store to fit it. I haven't filled mine in yet, but IIRC the hole in mine was about the size as a 1/2" conduit knockout in an electrical panel. I'll probably come across several while I'm building our house, grind it down if it's a little to big, and weld it in there.

Re: Radio antenna delete

One of these in the appropriate size should do the trick --> http://www.caplugs.com/productdetail...mno=BPF+SERIES

They're available at most any auto parts store.

Re: Radio antenna delete

If your truck is already painted... I think a plug would look cheesy... just buy a new antenna. I don't quite get why you wouldn't want to put another one on?
