NOS deluxe side markers

May be old news but for those of you that may not know, these beauties are still available from GM!

Lonestar Chevrolet just dropped these off at the shop.

Re: NOS deluxe side markers

While they are still available as GM service replacment parts these look to be current production thus not NOS. Is there a date code on the package?

Re: NOS deluxe side markers

OK, they may not be NOS by definition, here's a pic of the #'s on the package.
All of the packaging is coming unglued (age?).
Whatever, I don't care if there officially new old stock or not. There made in the USA and they are very nice ........ and the whole set was just over a bill, delivered!

Re: NOS deluxe side markers

Well, that's really surprising. I went to the big Chevy dealer here last year when I first got my truck to see what they had or could order in. They said their catalogs don't go past like '92. All I got was a question from the hoop ear ringed, tatted parts guy as to whether mine was a short bed. When I said no, he was like "oh, that's too bad. I would have bought it from you". If I were in a bad mood, I may have said "I prefer a long bed, and for the record...my truck is NOT for sale, and if it were I would rather it go to a good home" lol.

Re: NOS deluxe side markers

If it comes from a Chevy dealer for trucks this old,it likely is current production.Chevy buys from the same folks that the BB vendors do for replacements.A local Chevy dealer has rockers and the ones I've seen are new production aftermarket, same as most of their classic parts line.NOS generally is something someone bought "back in the day" or from an old dealership that sold out and had some spare parts on the shelf.

Re: NOS deluxe side markers

Awesome!
Can you put up both part numbers?
I copied picture and zoomed in on the numbers but they get to fuzzy.
Looks like the other number is 911311?
Thanks!

Re: NOS deluxe side markers

I believe Chevy vans used the same marker lights as our trucks. That van body style was used from 1971 to 1996

Here in Charleston, they want $34 for one and $46 on the other.
