How many of you dream everyday of what your Truck will look like.....

.....when completed? I even fantasize that I am driving it down the road while I am driving my daily commuter. Am I crazy?

No you're not crazy, obsessed maybe, but who isn't?

As for me, I don't have to dream, just pull out some old dealer brochures and look at the pictures and illustrations!

Seriously, we all do, that's what keeps us motivated!

I just dream of having a 406, headers, full fresh exhaust, and an A/C that works perfectly

I dream of just having all the pieces back together and driving....Heck...I don't care if it is still multicolored. Paint....That'll be the next daydream.

Ah yes the dream state......................

Well I been working on mine, off and on pending on $$$
for the last 10 years mainlygetting parts and misc 15 years more like it getting it movable.

I finally got it on the road, exhaust done motor running smooth for the most part. I had to hange out the PS pump and front brake calipers. Hopefully thats it, then.....

DREAM 1 Has came true

Dream 2 All one color primer with rust removed (then wife will ride in it)

Dream 3 , get painted, new bed wood, running perfect, Wet my pants, go on a hmm 5 -10 day run some where in it, like a route 66 type run. and wet my pants more and then???????????????????????????

(I AM CURRENTLY BETWEEN 1 AND 2 RIGHT NOW)

I think about it everyday seeing how I can see my 72 from where I am sitting. I have even dreampt about cruising in it when it's finished. i have a crystal clear image of what I want it to look like when it's done. That is what drives me to try and finish it. And all the helpful words and support of all the members here.

Hmmm '67 Chevy SWB Hugger Orange with Black Interior,RamJet 502,700R4,22" Billets,NOS,Digital Dash,Ice Cold AC,will work.then a 100% perfect original low mile Grandpa '72 SWB Big Block truck,2 tone Blue/White,load it up with factory options,4/6 drop on some 20" Torq Thrusts would be cool for a daily driver.a 67 SWB 4x4 with a 454t350,massive lift, cold AC for Desert Thrashing.I think about to many possibilities, and dont want it any other way,so im going to give up with everything i have and buy a original low mile truck, and perform the ultimate sin, make it not so original.I know of a 67 Stepside that has about 26,000 some odd miles, has a 6cyl,forest green, manual everything, floor mats, tire rack, small hub caps, and its for sale,i found it by accident.and i want it to put 454t400,ps,pb,5 lug,put on a fleet box.the poor thing really dont need anything, but some cool stuff!
