Van tilt column parts

I just got a tilt column from a 1973 Chevy Van. I am looking to do a very simple restore, replace the lower bearing, paint, etc.

My question is:
When buying parts for this, do I just look for parts for 67-72 Chevy truck columns? They seem to be easier to find when listed as one of our trucks. Are all the parts for these columns interchangeable?

Re: Van tilt column parts

I believe just about everything is interchangeable except the intermediate shaft. Send a PM to KevsClassics. He's the forum authority on the tilts.

There are minor differences in the appearance of the gear indicator lens and flasher button. The harness has a different connector (flat vs. curved) but an adaptor is available.
