Never seen a set of holes like that in a hood. Is it only on one side? Maybe an aftermarket antenna mount?

I had some kind of like that, it was a farmer antenna mount. I also had a rust hole in the fender where the wire went around the edge of the hood.

Re: What are these holes for? AD hood

If you were over here in the Yakima Valley I'd think my uncle and his cronies had got hold of it. They drilled extra holes in their trucks to mount everything.

I'd think that was what someone did though. Mount what is normally a cowl mount antenna on the side of the hood because they could get to the back side of the hood easily. One like this one that you normally see mounted on a Model A or something similar http://www.ebay.com/itm/COWL-MOUNT-R...78bb06&vxp=mtr
