Quick fuel rail question

When did the trucks (5.3 specifically) go to using the returnless system? I have a return style system on my engine (2000 Yukon). What year did they stop with this style? I have access to the fuel lines from a 2004 Suburban; will they work?

Re: Quick fuel rail question

2004 most went to returnless, however, the flex fuel engines were still return style.

Re: Quick fuel rail question

Cool, thanks for the help. Which engine code (VIN character) is the flex fuel engine?
