Is this what I need

I have a 71 swb that has a 69 camaro 350. I want to replace the stock type fuel pump. Will this work;

What carb are you running? The Edelbrock carbs like low pressure, so their pumps are designed for that.

lots of guys waste lots of money reading catalogue hype when the factory original fuel pumps that worked just fine for 40+ years are what is required

The Stock pump from your local auto house will support your "needs". That pump will support your wants.
