Van Tilt Column Gear Indicator

I just scored a tilt column from a 78 van/camper conversion and I'm looking for the gear indicator pointer. I've searched/looked all over for it. Would one from a tilt column truck be the same?

Re: Van Tilt Column Gear Indicator

If you can make sure that all of the old pointer is out of the column. i had one that had a small part of the bottom of the pointer broken off and had slid down into the shifter tube and would not let the shifter go all the way back to park. Also if you wanting to freshen the looks up a little bit, the spray can from your local John Deere place Blitz Black is about as close to factory column black color as you can find. Jim
