What did you find in your door

Had a rattle in the door on the 74 i bought a few months ago. Pulled the door panel off and found pine needles and a dos equios beer bottle. After cleaning it out with the vaccum i looked in the shop vac to see what else i had and pulled out a 357 round. What have you found in your doors.

A lot of glass....and various door panel hardware that came in handy

Speaking of tires I did find a screwdriver in my tire once! That was interesting...

I'd bet they were shims to either hold the glass up or stop a rattle.

It was not in the door but behind the interior door handle, I found a toy car. I'm pretty sure it was a Crackerjacks toy from back in the day, it has actual moving wheels.

Re: What did you find in your door

While changing out new glass in my doors I found this magnitized insurance button stuck to the side of the inner part of the door..
By looking up the bussiness and telephone number ,,this is what led me to know where my truck begin it's life when new.
Brawley is about 70 west of Yuma Arizona in California ..

About all I ever find is mirror backing plates and door lock clips. I did find some change in one over at the salvage yard. It included a silver quarter and silver dime.

Re: What did you find in your door

It seems to be for me, not necessarily in the door but some there to as well. I find 22lr rounds. Now I wish I had saved all the 22 rounds, since they seem to be gold around here.

Re: What did you find in your door

All I just found was more evidence that a previous owner used a water hose to spray out the inside of the truck..... more than once.
