Looks good. Can't quite make out the brand on the caps, who makes them?

Re: Finally got some new wheels!

I came of age in the 1970s with Torque Thrusts, ET Slots and Cragar Super Sports, and tend not to care for a lot of the newer wheel styles. But I like these. They look good on your ride.

Re: Finally got some new wheels!

Hi Bugz, I was running 15" 6 lug steel wheels that were on the truck when I bought it. I put them in the front yard with a "free" sign on them and they were gone in two minutes. I can post a pic if you like but they were nothing to look at.

Re: Finally got some new wheels!

I was just looking at the tire sizes and your post came up...what is your backspace and offset front and back? I like your wheels, they look good.

Re: Finally got some new wheels!

The wheels look great and that's a nice looking truck! Is that the factory blue? It looks like its about the same shade my 71 originally was and I love the color. I really am leaning towards having it painted the original color again.

Thanks OrangeCrush,
The backs are 18x8 and they claim the backspace was 4.5" but when I got them in, they were more like 4.0" which actually worked out better for me. I can't remember what the fronts were but they are 18x7 so if you go to their website, it will give the backspace

Re: Finally got some new wheels!

Good choice.

Heard of some problems reported on getting them delivered. I had no problems myself. Really I think those are the folks that ordered something custom backspace or the larger sizes..

Re: Finally got some new wheels!

Nice!

To me they look a lot like the wheels that came on Hot Wheels cars in the 70's...very cool.
