idler arm
Any advice, tricks, tips on replacing the idler arm on my 72. Gonna do the tie rods while I'm there.

Pull the tie rods first or the drag link will be flopping around. Then do the idler. The idler and pitman arm hold the drag link in place. Makes things go a bit easier.
Remove the ball joint from the drag link first. If a hammer doesn't knock the joint apart, get a pickle fork. My pickle fork has a screw on handle for hammering and an air hammer adaptor for the air hammer. Guess which one I use. Then the 2 bolts from the frame. Pretty simple.
