Re: what are suburbans selling for?

It really depends on condition. Most that I have seen recently seem to range from $4k to $8k for a decent everyday driver. Show quality can fetch as much as $20K or more. Most of the project trucks I've seen have been running from $1500-$3000. But it really comes down to, How much are you willing to spend on it? LOL

Got one your looking at? Post pics. we'd love to see and it would help in giving any advise.

thanks for your feedback!!! I am asking because I have been working on mine for 3 years and it seems like the value of the suburban keeps going up and in the back of my head I was throwing around the idea if I was offered the right price I would sell mine not sure what that would be so I was just seeing what everyone else was thinking thanks again! I would like anyone else to add there opinion.

Location has a lot to do with price.

I agree out west they are in generally better shape and out east here they are usually rusty and rough harder to find a good one.

Re: what are suburbans selling for?

I bought my panel last year for $3k. I was driving, but not very well, rust seems minimal. I feel like I got a GREAT price.

When I bought it:

Location and price should not be so closely linked, at least for the decent ones. A matter of a couple grand will get a truck from one end of the country to the other, so in theory the end price shouldn't be too drastically different. Eastern buyers need to think outside of the rusty box. Lol.

Re: what are suburbans selling for?

I grabbed this66 out of Kansas for 1100, missing fenders and inner's and had 95% of the sheet metal that needed replaced. I felt like i got a good deal shipping was around 950 to get it to Florida. still a fair price for how solid the important areas are.

Re: what are suburbans selling for?

My dad bought this 65 from the original owner in 1976 for $600. I know it's been 40 years since we got it but it was a good price then.

Re: what are suburbans selling for?

I picked up the 64 in 2011 for $400, and the 65 in 2013 for $500.
64 was rusty, running, 292. the 65 was no m/t, but air /pb.

Re: what are suburbans selling for?

I see a lot of these list for a ton but rarely see one sell for the ebay price. Can't go by what someone is asking for something as its value, knowing what it sold for is more important.
