1971 Door options

My doors on my 71 are a bit rusty. Best I can tell, the lower part of the doors are rusted bad and the inside of the door skins are rusty(especially at the bottom). I'm sure this has happened from the lack of weatherstripping around the Windows over the years. I've got the doors stripped of its internal parts and the only thing worth saving are the lower window channels. The rest is rusty and worn out. Also the drivers side upper hinge has been welded in place using a bolt as a spacer! Haha, not funny. The rust on the door skins is starting to bubble on the outside near the corners as well. It's pretty eat up.
My question is this Should I have my fab guy repair the doors or should I just buy new ones?
Which way will be cheaper and a better way of fixing them?
Thanks guys

Unless your body man works way cheaper than any I've seen you will be way ahead buying new doors but shipping would be high so you may have to drive a ways to find rust free doors.

Be patient and look for good used doors. I don't think I've heard anyone brag about their sweet, great fitting reproduction doors they bought for next to nothing.

Re: 1971 Door options

Thanks guys. I'm really close to the Truck Shop in Concord, NC. They have the doors in stock. I think I'm going to save my pennies and go get those. I haven't found any rust free doors local.
