'67 Hood

Where is a good place to get a factory replacement or cowl hood for a '67 C20? I drove about 4 hours away earlier this year to pick up a hood that by everything I saw was a correct hood. Only to get there and find out it was a '69 hood. Now a I have a '69 hood cause i wasn't leaving empty handed and still need a '67 hood.

Re: '67 Hood

Don't buy an aftermarket 67-68 hood ,they don't fit and a few vendors won't even sell them . They are working on a newer model that will fit better but it's not available yet . Check with GMC Paul's

Parts board is the best place. I'm pretty far from you but have this one for sale.

Re: '67 Hood

Thanks for the info guys. The truck I bought was a pretty complete 1967 Chevy C20, but it didn't have a hood. Truck has been sitting since 1985 in a barn, then in 2012 got moved to a asphalt pad out side, (with the windows down). So sheet metal wise its a pretty solid truck. Interior is junk due to a Raccoon having his way with it.
