'66 front wheel well rubber/metal cover below air cowl vent

So on our '66 C10 there is a area where the front wheel well/inner fender/cab/fender all join at the bottom.

See this picture. (this isn't our truck..but shows the spot)

Left hand side of the photo.

When you put the fender on there is an area here that looks like it would easily collect dirt/debris.

What is supposed to cover this area?

-I don't see anything on LMC truck other than the air vent cowl..this is below that...

-I don't see anything on image searches that indicates there is anything there to cover the void....

Does anyone have any photos of this area with the fender installed?

I did a few forum searches..I can't find anything for this vintage that shows what I'm talking about. Lots of threads about welding up the air vents..but that isn't what I'm looking at.

What area are you looking at exactly, can you circle it in paint and re post the picture?

There are these pieces but I don't know if this is the area you are talking about. These go off the fender between the mounting bolts near the cowl and door.

Are you referring to the closing panels that attach to the inner fender brace? I dont think that LMC has those but but the Truck Shop in Orange has the complete installation components for our trucks:

There isn't anything that covers that channel between the firewall and cowl. The fender has a tab that locates in between.

Awesome! Thanks for the help.

When I was searching online I was having a hell of a time finding any photos that show this area. Especially ones that show the individual pieces being installed/pulled out.
