Re: how to do a burnout?

ya know.....i've read through most of these replies.

the way i learned it is like this

Burnout: spinning the tires on the pavement without moving forward (exception if you can pop the front tires off the ground )

Peelout: spinning the tires on the pavement then taking off (just so you can leave TWO bad a** black streaks on the road to piss off the people next door )

Yeah and if I tear something up, I will fix it. Sounds like a good excuse to check out some different gears. I don't use this truck for hauling the groceries. I have a DD for that.

Re: how to do a burnout?

TH 350 will last if you have a few $$ into it. Having too much TQ and to much traction is what wull ruin then fast. just make sure your tires spin instead of hook and you will be fine.

Still holding just fine! On a peel out it will hit 2nd and keep spinning until it hooks up and goes, still in second.

I bet those are fun to try to get out once they shatter! I thought a 60 was supposed to be a tough old rear end?

That's why there is no substitute for the BBC. I do have a suggestion though....run around with your bed off. This is a video when I just got the darn thing running. Seriously out of tune and running really rich. Still had the red-neck 36" glass packs held up with coat hangers. The lack of weight sure does cause a little wheel-hop though!!!

To me, the long glass packs actually sound great. I was talking more about my "hangers". =oD
