I thought the lower vent was to circualate all of the heat from the heater that always seems to let hot air out on 100+ degree days...

Yeah, it was about 95+ yesterday, and I couldn't figure out why the darn heater was pumping out all that heat. I fiddled with the controls for several minutes before giving up. I didn't think about using the lower vents though. I'll have to remember that.

The wing window is usually the first one I open. I would never do a conversion to one piece.

Over 95 today. I had every window and vent open. Gotta get AC.

I use mine most of the time in the summer. Just gets too hot not to have the extra air blowing through the cab.

The sound from the wind pisses me off I keep them closed. I will be using a 1 piece glass kit in my 67.

When I got my truck it had gawd awful ugly mirros that prevented the vent windows from opening enough to work. Couldn't stand that so got different mirros and could finally enjoy the breeze. My driver door vent window would never stay open so had to drive with hand on it to keep it open. Using a different door now so hopefully once I'm back on the road, it will work better.

Got to have them in Nevada. Flip them open and get 115 degree air in your face, instant tan.

Use 'em all the time.
I did the "Oh sh!t, wasp in me shorts!!!" dance one day though! Scared the crap out of me (which helped kill the wasp!).

I was driving around today in 96 degree weather when I remembered to try the lower vents! I'm the type of guy who wears jeans even in 100+ degree weather, so I was glad to discover the refreshing air circulation those vents provide. It was starting to get a little hot and sweaty down below. My legs I mean!

No A/C, just the window units. Also, the channel is a good thing to hold onto when you're going around a left turn too fast.
