Re: Update on intermittent wiper switches

There is a slight delay since we modified the wiring colors to make it even easier to install. I should be getting 20 early next week.

Re: Update on intermittent wiper switches

Sorry for any delay.
The construction is finished. Church (Carolina Classic Trucks) should have these in his posession at the beginning of the week (Dec 12th or so). The wiring colors Church mentioned...instead of having a red 'positive' wire and blue switch wires, we decided to make it as user friendly as possible. It has all "color-for-color" wiring, which will eleminate 99% of installer error. The wires match the factory wires, so if the colors don't match, it is in the wrong place!!!
Man, these things are awesome....but as the builder, I am kinda' biased.
We are still on schedule for the second week of December.

Re: Update on intermittent wiper switches

UPDATE:
The switches are now in stock over at Carolina Classic Trucks - Ready to ship.
I am sure Ryan will add more information to this because this is his baby now, but at last count, there were only 15 or 16 switches remaining from this first shipment. He has had them for only an hour or so and already 4 are sold??? Man...these things are a hot item I guess. And remember, I will give free tech support on these if there is a question that he can't answer. We want HAPPY members!!!

Couldn't you use the delay module from a 81 and newer chevy truck and adapt it to the newport motor? I guess you would have to confirm the column switch is the same as used in the pickups.

Re: Update on intermittent wiper switches

Got mine Monday. Don't know if I will get it in before Christmas, I have a honeydew or two to get done first. Looks like an easy install, I've been holding off on putting the instrument panel back in.

Re: Update on intermittent wiper switches

This place has been out of stock for a long time. New Port has an updated bolt in motor and pump replacement and has intermittent switches.

New Port Engineering

Cheers,
