Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Re: Ugly Betsy.

I'm waving the white flag on this one. I spent the weekend trying to salvage the lower rear bed side & end. It turned out ok. The bed end is not even close! I tacked it on and clamped it the best I could. I still cant close the gaps. Body work is not my thing. I'm thinking about loading all of the parts and hauling it to the body shop when my finances are able to withstand the bill.

Don't hand it over to the big money guys just yet, take a step back work on something else and come back to it, you've done this good up to now it would be a shame to throw the towel in.

I got the word today that the buyer wants her. The other good news is that he's also a board member and I will hopefully see a build thread. I can't wait to see what kind of cool stuff he does with this truck. My daughter is PO'd and currently not on speaking terms with me though.

I bet an Olds in your garage would make her happy.

Maybe the new owner will pick up on this thread?

I'll bet a dent in the credit card bill will make your sister even happier.
