Re: What kinda carb is this?
Ok after searching a little more I found it was a 650cfm qjet replacement for 327-400 motors. Good deal I'm going to get it rebuilt now!

Re: What kinda carb is this?
If it is a replacement for a Q-jet it will be a spead bore type carb. It will work best with an Edelbrock Performer manifold or other spread bore manifolds. There is not enough photos to tell but it probably is not a double pumper.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
It is a spreadbore and a double pumper for sure, you have an accelerator pump on both the primaries and secondaries. I could be wrong but it looks like you are missing some screws on the base plate.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
You need the list number off of the choke horn. It's probably a 6210

Re: What kinda carb is this?
He's not missing any screws.....he just has 2 in the wrong spot. The 2 center ones should be moved up/down depending on how you look at it. The center holes are left open from the factory.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
Correct and I'm not sure I will EVER understand why Holley machines the main body for screws and the base plate has the holes for them and yet they don't come with them.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
You have a 50% chance of getting the cfm guess right since they only made 2 Holley spread bore CFM sizes. A 650 and an 800. 800's are super easy to spot because they have huge rear boosters.

They are so high in the venturi that you would think the signal would flat suck!

Re: What kinda carb is this?
Interesting how that little Holley wound-up with those super old needle and seats. The carb can't be all that old because of the plastic vac housing top.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
The 1850 on my Dad's 355 has the old style bowls with adjustable floats/needle and seats. Also has the metal vac housing too. I didn't like it when Holley switched the 1850's over to non-adjustable floats.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
Yes but those needles use an O ring to seal and once you crack them loose, it's very hard to get them to not leak.

Re: What kinda carb is this?
The numbers on the choke horn are 6210-3. Where can I find a rebuild kit for it?

Re: What kinda carb is this?
I have one of those on mine and i was hoping it would be better than a QJet. Its been nothing but trouble and after some research I have found that its the worst of both Holley and Qjet carbs combined. It has minimal adjustment to make it run correctly. It boils over without a phenolic spacer, The floats hang often and flood out the engine, I'm going back to a Qjet. I've had to rebuild mine 3 time in 2 years before it finally work half way decent.
