how about a '71 or '72 C/40? Only seen one before. It's the correct wheelbase to put a 8' bed on it too it seems.

How rare is a Feather's Blazer?

Did they make a Feather's Jimmy?

Who has the rarest truck on the board?

Depends how you define "rare"

My brother's '72 cheyenne has only maybe 50k miles on it now, but it's not extremely special options wise, just the normal "nice" stuff, no tach or anything, just the cheyenne stuff with 4 seasons a/c. Does have the hugger orange and white paint scheme and looks mighty sharp though.

Speaking of which, can anyone host my pics for me so I can post them here?

It does have an extremely high production number, but we don't know the total numbers per plant so can't really compare it that way...

he asked if they made one. A feather's blazer was just a blazer with a special paint scheme/ accent (sticker) combo.

Edit: hey the picture worked now!

Those are all the original trim pieces and bumpers. Bumpers were rechromed with the trim pieces simply polished with new woodgrain applied. Fender badges were not touched, just removed for the painting and reapplied. Fenders, hood, bed, doors etc were all removed for the paint job.

Makes the '70 look even more beat up being next to it. This should probobly be the last post with the picture unless someone requests something specific becuase I don't want to overload you low bandwidth guys trying to read this thread.

That's a color matched spray in bedliner in the bed. Those are the original colors of the truck.

So the exterior body is now 100% rust free with no bondo, glass etc, all metal. I believe there was some light rust underneath but they did not patch it, they simply repaired it to where it will not continue.

Thanks,
Ryan
